想趁清晨涼爽出門走走，起床東摸西摸，回過神來就太熱了。 #隱喻人生

偶然在短時間內看了《東京喰種》和《獸爪》的動畫，前者忍耐看了一陣子還是棄了，後者幾乎是一口氣看完。

Many problems are structural and historical. Look at them from an intellectual point of view, most of our daily lives can become problematic. That might mean our society still have room to improve, but I doubt your new solutions will be the ultimate good.

常去外帶的麵店有號碼牌機制，疫情導致來客量少之後就沒再發，現在客人回流大概也忘記要發，結果我就不止一次目睹插隊糾紛。

有些人點完餐後喜歡站在收銀台旁邊擋路，就是因為他有機會插隊或是怕被插隊。店家過度信任自己的記性，反而讓顧客養成壞習慣，找大家麻煩。

連自己都不願意付出勞力或財力來背書的意見，無論對錯，還是放在心裡吧。隨口說說的話徒增他人困擾，自己也會變得不可靠。不會有人因為你意見多就覺得你比較行。

自從故宮成為團客必去景點之後就沒再去過，趁著疫情沒人去看了《遺珠》書畫展。展品多是對山水花卉鳥獸的描繪，道理我大概能懂，但身體實在沒什麼反應。我能以文物視之，它卻無法對我起到藝術的作用。

疫情趨緩，可內用的店家人潮明顯回流了。店家各自設下了防疫限制，但似乎許多人不知道為什麼要這麼設定，也不知道該如何才能有效防疫。比如好友相見，自然就坐到擋板的同一邊，方便說話。又比如不用餐的時候應該戴著口罩，於是覺得一面吃飯一面聊天的話，就沒有違反規定了。

When I was reading Orwell’s “1984” a few years ago, reviews and intros are all like “fortunately this is not how the world turned out to be”. Bet those writers wouldn’t be so sure today.

「為什麼要堅持竪排？」

『說不上堅持，但從小看的小說都這樣排呀，小說就是豎排變成理所當然的事。說網頁不適合豎排，我一直覺得那是網頁瀏覽器作為一種文字載體至今都還沒成熟的關係。』

Didn’t expect “Neuromancer” to be a challenging read. Interesting.

因為慣性，網上購物我曾經只會上PChome，如今卻有一陣子沒在上面買東西了。理由不是因為它的搜尋功能總是把關鍵商品擺在後面，也不是它總猜錯我的喜好，甚至也沒有動過跟別家購物網比較╱比價的念頭⋯⋯

但PChome長期無法用Firefox瀏覽，於是我今天註冊成為了momo購物網的會員。

Obviously we like seeing light from the top, e.g., sunlight, lamppost, most indoor lighting, etc. So how come we don’t see more window shades that open from top to bottom?

To invite more natural daylight into a room without making it unbearably hot is hard and labour-intensive in this city.
